• Meetings start at 7 p.m. (Note: At times we have workshops before some meetings – see Programme)
  • Each month you may submit up to 2 photos for the monthly competition and 2 photos for the Open Digital Category (4 photos in total). For Print competitions photos should be mounted on stiff backing and must be tabled by 7:30 p.m. Maximum photo size is A4 , not including backing. For Digital competitions entries will normally be sized to no larger than 1024 pixels horizonally or 768 pixels vertically and be JPG file format.
  • You must be a current financial member to take active part in club competitions.
  • New members should become financial after three visits.
  • Exhibited photos for club and inter-club level should be no older than 18 months and not have been exhibited before (except for end of year trophies). The Open Category must be digital and there is no age limit on the photo.
  • Subscriptions are due by the March meeting.

Naming convention for Photo entries. Digital and Print.

  • Competition name first
  • Member number second
  • Sequence number third.

If you require the photo in the monthly competition and a Trophy entry

  • Competition name first followed by the word Trophy and the Trophy name
  • Member number second
  • Sequence number third.

Entry in Trophy only:-

  • The word Trophy first
  • Trophy name second
  • Member number third
  • Sequence number fourth

For the Open Digital entries

  • Month first
  • Open second
  • Member number third
  • Sequence number fourth

Example:-

  • Holidays-14-1
  • Portrait-Trophy-BlackWhite-14-1
  • Trophy-Landscape-14-1
  • March-Open-14-1

Some photos will  be added to this web site from time to time. If you do not want certain photos to be on the web site please indicate this by adding a letter “n” to the end of the sequence number.

  • Mountain Trophy (last year this was Diptych or Triptych).
