Last Meeting

13th November – Kerikeri

Our last meeting ended up being very impromptu, Denis couldn’t be there as he was not feeling well, and John couldn’t be there to give his talk.

Lynnis gave a talk and slide show on her canoeing adventures from Coromandel to North Cape. Lynnis had ½ a day to prepare her talk.  Thanks Lynnis, great stuff.  Very inspiring.

Vin talked to us on his method of cutting matting using Acrylic Sheeting and a glass bar as a ruler, very effective.

David Austin and his daughter from Digi-Sub Printing Ltd, a new business at Waipapa, talked to us about what they have to offer e.g. printing (dry lab printing, enviro friendly), picture framing and many novelty products such as printing on t-shirts, mouse pads etc., (50 items to choose from).  David and daughter stayed for the rest of the meeting and may become members.

Important

Could all members please remember this.  If you can’t be at the next meeting, pass your form to someone who is going.  We need to plan our next year program.
