Club Meeting – June 12th 2008 Wednesday, May 28 2008

Place: Senior Citizens Hall, Tawanui Rd, Kaikohe

The competition subject for this meeting is “Patterns and Textures”. This is also for our inter-club competition with the Southern Club so please make a good effort to have a selection of images we can choose from to enter in this. For the inter-club competition photos need to be no larger than A4 size including mounting.

We are also having a workshop on still life photography using a light tent – bring along your camera and tripod, and any small objects for us to photograph.

Speaker: Graham Richards will talk on ‘Originality in Photography’.

Critique: Avis will critique our pictures on ‘Colour’ and ‘The Essence of Summer’

Still Life Workshop

Our workshop on ‘Still Life’ will be postponed until another session.
Keep this in mind.  We would like each person to bring into this workshop their own expertise and experience so we can be learning from all.  Read up and learn, then we will pool our knowledge.  We will spend
a whole meeting on this.
